About Rusty Rogers Films

Rusty Rogers is a self-employed documentary filmmaker and freelance video photographer. In his 15 years of experience, Rusty has consistently provided a unique and personalized approach to a variety of clients. Recently his work has been featured on NewBlueFX.com and GrassValley.com. As an industry leader, he is currently on the beta test teams for both companies and currently holds the position of Division Director for Moonandback Productions.

* Promotional videos for large-scale events including web, broadcast and documentaries
* Promotional and web videos for our local symphony
* Interview videographer using multiple cameras, natural and multi-point light, with on and off camera audio
* Cinematographer and lighting director
* DP, technical advisor and camera operator for the feature-length documentary, "Pudge to Perfect"
* DP, camera operator and editor for the Emmy nominated PBS television show "Second Saturday" currently airing on KVIE



Rusty has experience using teleprompters, grips, make-up, jibs and dollies. The equipment he uses includes the Canon 5Dmk2, 7D, T2i and Sony EX1.  He has extensive experience both working as part of a team as well as operating independently.

A life-long Sacramento resident, Rusty now lives with his wife Patrice, and his son Kyle. His oldest son is now a graduate student at New York University.
